Simon Thompson
Executive Director Interior Architecture, Red Sea Global
Simon Thompson joined Red Sea Global in 2022, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality design.
Prior to joining TRSDG, Simon was principle of Aedas, one of the largest global design firms. In that role he led hospitality design in Asia and the Middle East, as well as having a guiding hand across all projects including integrated resorts and Casinos. Simon had direct responsibility for numerous projects including, most recently the restoration and redevelopment of Raffles Hotel Singapore and Marina Bay Sands™ Singapore.
Before Aedas, Simon specialized in luxury residential, integrated resorts, and complex mixed-use urban projects, both through his own business as well as in a leadership capacity for developers and contractors in Ireland and Europe.
He received his bachelor’s degree in interior design architecture at Manchester University.
Simon brings with him a wealth of experience in global cutting-edge hospitality design and thinking, and is responsible for driving design standards and innovation within the developments.
