Co-Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, The Dandy Collection
Michael Goodman has a unique set of qualifications; as a Restaurant Owner, an Interior Designer, a Brand Strategist and a former Executive Chef. Together with friend and business partner, Rohit Roopchand, they own and operate four diverse concepts under the Dandy Collection; Neon Pigeon, Fat Prince, Firangi Superstar and California Republic.
As The Dandy Collection’s co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer, Michael is committed to pushing the envelope creatively and connecting with guests emotionally. He also spearheads the conceptualization and design process of these spaces while developing strong, distinctive brand stories and voices.
Working closely with the Chefs and Operations teams within the Group, Michael is also deeply involved in the development of the food and drink menus as well as guest experience. Constantly challenging the status quo, he injects elements and touchpoints that are not only playful and refreshing, but also thoughtful and meaningful.
Michael has lived in Asia and the Middle East for more than 20 years, with time spent in Bali, Dubai and Singapore. Having lived in Singapore for the past 13 years, he now calls the city home.
