Kajsa Krause has built an extensive career of nearly twenty years, creating and spearheading an expansive list of inspiring luxury, boutique and lifestyle designs as well as branding initiatives for hospitality and residential projects around the world.
Prior to joining Champalimaud Design as Principal, Kajsa was the co-founder of Krause Sawyer, a leading New York interior design firm specializing in hospitality interiors and branding. Her experience also includes working as a senior designer at Rockwell Group and holding a senior role at the lauded design and branding agency, Stylt of Sweden.
Kajsa has produced a number of award-winning projects, executing high-profile luxury properties and prominent lifestyle hotels as well as resorts in key locations around the globe. With a keen interest in culture and travel, she has worked with major hotel brands on redefining brand narratives and internal design directives. Kajsa's current projects span from a redesign of Abu Dhabi's famed Emirates Palace to the conception of a new Beach Club in Naples, Florida. The international scope of her practice testifies to a deeply versatile design sense.

Originally from Sweden, Kajsa received her Master of Architecture from the School of Architecture at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
