Principal, BAMO
Like many creative types, Gerry Jue’s wheels are constantly in motion. With architecture degrees from U.C. Berkeley and Harvard (Bachelor and Masters respectively), his project approach is methodical while his application of ideas is fluid and flexible.
Since co-founding BAMO in 1991, Gerry has designed urbane, quietly sophisticated properties worldwide. In addition to his hospitality and residential commissions, Gerry also leads the firm’s senior living practice and has designed a number of award-winning, luxury facilities in Japan… think 5-star living through your golden years. Gerry pays attention to all aspects of design from planning to detailing to artwork, often integrates custom furniture and lighting into his projects.
Gerry is a member of Hospitality Design’s Platinum Circle and has been a guest speaker at Salone del Mobile, Hospitality Design Expo, California College of the Arts, as well as serving as the keynote presenter at the Banff Sessions for the Alberta Architects Association. He is a licensed architect in California and Florida, a member of the AIA and serves on the Executive Cabinet of the Leaders of Design Council.
