As head of hospitality at Areen Design, Andrew is involved in and monitors all aspects of a project, from concept to completion. His passion for delivering design solutions which add value, without compromising creative quality, remains as strong as ever.

Whether working for the world’s largest hotel groups or boutique investors, Andrew and the Areen team’s designs always respond to local heritage and culture, avoiding the ‘one size fits all’ approach. As he explains “Functionality and efficiency may drive returns, but any hospitality brand has to integrate the personality of the place and the people where a project is planned.”

Andrew has worked across four continents on both new build projects and major refurbishment of hotels. His reputation as both a conference speaker and opinion -former continues to grow, founded on design principles which he firmly believes will release more value to investors and operators.
